We are delighted to be a beneficiary of the 2016 Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle. It is going to allow us, with your help, to upgrade all our equipment and boats to ensure we provide the best possible rescue service on Kenmare Bay.
We are now looking for people who wish to cycle and fundraise for Derrynane Inshore Rescue Service, a vital service which saves lives at sea along the Kenmare Bay.
Our current boat is 10 years old and with the money raised from the Ring of Kerry Cycle we plan to fully refit and update the Aghamare II, our current rescue boat. This would include all new safety equipment, electronics and engines. It is vital we do this to ensure we can provide the best possible rescue service on the Kenmare Bay.
If you would like to cycle and fundraise for us we would be delighted. By cycling and fundraising for us you are ensuring there will be a state of the art rescue boat on the Kenmare bay for many years to come.
